CAMPFIRES Annual Offering		Outdoor Ministries

Click on the icon below to download a free copy of Adobe Reader.	Campfires have been rekindled this summer at our church camps, Pilgrim Hills and Templed Hills. Let our spirit of support for the important blessings of Outdoor Ministries also be rekindled. Encourage your congregation to participate in the first annual offering of CAMPFIRES — Camps Are Meaningful Places For Inspiration, Recreation, Education and Spirituality. The Ohio Conference Board of Directors has suggested that Christian Education Sunday (September 12 in 2004) be the date to receive the offering. Click the campfire above for a bulletin insert (PDF format) that you can download and print. More promotional ideas for your congregation’s worship, Sunday School and newsletter will be available in the coming weeks. The materials are not dated so that your leadership may choose another date to fit your church’s mission calendar. Special CAMPFIRES offering envelopes can be ordered by emailing Outdoor Ministries or calling 800-282-0740. Gifts received from this offering will go to offset the increasing expenses of maintaining our two camp sites. Thank you for supporting our camps!
