Reduce Camp Costs with Discounts                              Online registration

Family Discounts
Three or more registrations from the same family/households each receive a 10% discount for the family. This applies to immediate family, not cousins coming to week-long camps. Although the discount will not be reflected on-screen when you register online, the appropriate adjustment will be made manually by our staff.   The Retreats for Adults cannot be counted toward this discount.

Early Registration Rates and Dates

Three registration rates are shown for each camp.

• Registrations dated* through March 31 pay the lowest camp fee.
Returning your registration by this date does not guarantee that space is
      available in your chosen camp.

• Registrations dated* April 1 through May 15 pay the middle rate.

• Registrations dated* after May 15 pay the highest rate.

*The relevant date will be either the postmark for mailed registrations or the automatic time/date stamp given to online registrations.

Secure online registration and payment  Now available!

We continue to make changes that will make it easier and faster for you to register for camp. For the 2010 season, we are asking that you transition to secure online registration and payment.  Click here to begin.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.  Both your $75 deposit and your final payment (due 2 weeks before camp begins) can be made online. We process registrations by online receipt date. You will be notified if the camp you chose has filled to capacity.

If you cannot use our online options, please call 800-282-0740 and request that a paper registration form be mailed to you.

More important information about registration and payment

Tips to make online registration easier

PARENTS — You can register multiple children in your family and/or multiple camps for one child and enter your parent information only once.

  • To register second child.  After you enter one registration, just click on “new camper” to begin registering another child.

  • To register a child for more than one camp, click on all desired camps during the same registration session.

GRANDPARENTS — When registering your family members for grandparent or family camps, please complete a separate registration for yourself.  Register as a separate “camper family,” different than your grandchildren’s “camper family.”

On your registration, watch for the field that will ask for the last names of your grandchildren and size of group attending so we can cross reference the family groups and assign lodging based on size and need.

To Register by Mail

Download a PDF registration form to print, make copies if needed, or request a form by contacting us at 800-282-0740 or by email

Send your completed form with deposit to Camp Registrar, Ohio Conference UCC, 6161 Busch Blvd, Suite 100, Columbus OH 43229.

  • We process mailed registrations by postmark date. We must receive your deposit and registration form to continue processing your registration.

  • We do not reserve spaces at camp before processing your registration.

  • Once we have received and processed your registration and deposit, each individual camper will receive a confirmation packet.

What you need to know about registration and payment

• Secure online registration and payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Both your $75 deposit and your final payment (due 2 weeks before camp begins) can be made online.

• The "grade" for our camps refers to the camper’s grade in school as of April 1, 2010.

• A $75 non-refundable deposit must accompany each camper's registration form. The balance is due 14 days before the beginning of the event.  Multiple deposits can be combined in one check.

• Registration will be open until 14 days before the first day of the event, or until the camp is full—whichever comes first—unless the event director advises otherwise.

• Registrations are processed in the order received, by online receipt date or postmark. You will be notified if the camp you chose has filled to capacity. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation packet with information about your event, directions to camp and 3 forms: Health, Agreement to Participate and Transportation Release.  Bring the forms with you on the first day of camp; you will need them to check in for camp.

• Make checks payable to "Ohio Conference UCC."  Please write the camper’s name on the "memo" line of your check and send with registration form and campership application (if requested) to:

Outdoor Ministries Registrar
Ohio Conference UCC
6161 Busch Blvd., Suite 100
Columbus OH 43229-2547

• Returned checks will incur a $20.00 service fee.

Campership Assistance

Many congregations provide assistance to their campers. If you need additional help, you may seek assistance from the Outdoor Ministries (ODM) Campership Fund. Applications are available from the ODM office. The maximum amount available to each individual is 60% of the lowest fee for their chosen camp.

Campership Fund dollars are allocated on a funds-available basis and only because individuals and churches throughout the Ohio Conference have made generous gifts to the Campership Fund.

Our Mission and Goals

Mission

The Division for Outdoor Ministries of the Ohio Conference UCC is committed to the development and maintenance of places and programs for people to get away, live together, and explore the appropriate responses to God's call.

Goals

1. Get to know God.
2. Get to know self.
3. Get to know others:

a. become better friends
b. become a good community
c. solve problems without fighting.

4. Learn about, understand, and respect nature.
5. Camp should involve the local church.
6. Campers should learn to help take care of themselves, nature and others.
7. Camp should be fun and easy to understand.
8. At camp we should learn, work, worship, and have fun.

Realizing that the diversity of our community enriches our overall camp experience, the Ohio Conference seeks to involve a broad mix of people in the camps and event programs.

Registration in the camps and events of the Ohio Conference is open to all persons within the specified age range.

Age ranges are specified and enforced for the safety and mental/spiritual health of the campers.  We strive to be age appropriate.
