A new era begins for United Church News |

October 2009 The Ohio Conference has published the first edition of its e-newsletter, Connections. Keep up with the latest Conference news and information. New subscribers are always welcome. September 2009 The print version of United Church News ceased publication as of September 2009, and we are making the transition to online news coverage and other ways of communicating with our members. The national online edition is available at www.ucc.org/news/. The Ohio Conference is in the process of creating alternative means of communicating Conference news. You will be hearing more about these in the near future. One of the possibilities is a periodic worship bulletin insert that will be made available online and in print. We hope that our churches will use these to help members stay in touch with what is happening in the wider church. The Conference will make more use of the occasional e-newsletters on special events and topics that you may now receive. A monthly e-newsletter is being discussed. A social networking page for the Ohio Conference is another way of keeping in touch that is being considered. If you have a suggestion about ways the Conference can effectively communicate with our churches and members, please let us hear from you.
